Job Title: BIM Coordinator MEP

We are seeking a skilled and experienced BIM Coordinator to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to utilize their technical expertise in BIM management and coordination.

About the Role:
  • Coordinate the overall use of BIM for projects, ensuring seamless integration with other disciplines.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain BIM protocols and standards within the project team, guaranteeing consistency and efficiency.
  • Analyze and implement client requirements and execution plans for BIM deliverables, providing solutions that meet and exceed expectations.
  • Document and communicate best practices and workflows, promoting knowledge sharing and collaboration.
  • Provide primary technical support for BIM-related matters, addressing any queries or concerns promptly.
  • Liaise and coordinate with BIM specialists, modelers, leads, and managers, fostering effective teamwork and communication.
  • Manage Revit project production and contents, including standard library objects, ensuring high-quality output.
  • Create families and possess expertise in modeling, utilizing your skills to create detailed and accurate models.
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary models, combining data from various sources to produce comprehensive outputs.
  • Lead and manage a team of MEP CAD/Revit Modelers, mentoring and guiding them to achieve excellence.
  • Ensure quality control for completeness and adherence to company standards of all shop drawings produced, maintaining the highest level of accuracy and precision.
  • Use Navisworks tools for review/QC/documentation, leveraging technology to streamline processes and improve productivity.
  • Perform QA/QC before deliverables are released, verifying that all outputs meet the required standards.
  • Provide one-to-one mentoring on 'Best Practice' workflows to project teams as required, empowering them to work more efficiently.
  • Monitor team compliance with BIM standards and guidelines, ensuring that everyone adheres to best practices.
  • Conduct project studies and explain to modelers, providing insights and recommendations to enhance performance.
  • Serve as the point of contact for clients regarding project-related issues, handling inquiries and resolving concerns promptly.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in design, drafting, and BIM management on large-scale projects.
  • Proficient in Autodesk Revit and 3D BIM authoring tools, with a strong understanding of their capabilities and limitations.
  • Experience using Navis for Coordination, able to leverage its features to improve workflow and productivity.
  • Technical knowledge of MEP services, including systems and components.
  • Excellent English communication and presentation skills, able to articulate complex ideas clearly and concisely.
  • Able to effectively prioritize tasks and solve problems, working under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Self-motivated and able to take responsibilities, driving initiatives and implementing changes to improve outcomes.
