Network Software Developer

Job Description:
  • We are seeking an experienced Network Software Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in computer science and software development, with expertise in network protocols and device architecture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop high-performance forwarding/networking software for next-generation switches.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and solve complex problems.
  • Analyze and debug complex microkernel/Linux issues.
  • Work closely with customer-facing teams to understand requirements and translate them into software design.
  • Develop complex packet forward features in IPv4/IPv6/MPLS, EVPN-VxLAN, Multicast, Firewall/Filter, Cos, DHCP, Services areas etc.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in software development, preferably in networking domain.
  • Excellent C/C++/Python programming skills.
  • Strong knowledge of computer architecture, data structures, and programming practices.
  • Good oral and written communication skills, self-motivated, and ability to work in a team environment.
  • Prior experience with datapath ASICs like Broadcom, Mellanox, Innovium, Barefoot or any other NPU is highly desirable.

Preferred Skills:

  • Strong networking background.
  • Exposure to multi-core software architectures.
  • A clear understanding of the product development cycle.
