Job Title: Software Developer with Expertise in Network Systems

Description:

Are you a skilled software developer looking for a challenging role that utilizes your expertise in network systems? Do you have experience working with complex software applications and architectures? We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced software engineer to join our team as a network systems software developer.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement network protocols and applications using C/C++/Python programming languages.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize feature development.
  • Develop and maintain high-quality codebase ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.
  • Work closely with QA engineers to identify and resolve defects.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to improve the overall quality of the codebase.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in network systems software development.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in software development with a focus on network systems.
  • Strong understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, OSI model) and architectures.
  • Experience with C/C++/Python programming languages and familiarity with tools such as Git, Jenkins, Docker, etc.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and continuous integration.

Bonus Points:

  • Experience with SONiC SAI and FRR open routing stack.
  • Knowledge of data path forwarding for ACLs, QoS, Unicast, Multicast, etc.
  • Hands-on experience with embedded systems and debugging skills.
  • Understanding of SONiC architecture and experience with software development for ASICs, FPGAs, Network Processors, etc.
