Essential Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field, accompanied by a minimum of 8 years of software development experience.
  • Superb written and verbal communication skills, enabling clear idea conveyance and effective collaboration with team members.
  • Proficiency in C, C++ programming, and debugging, as well as Python and other scripting languages.
  • Experience in developing high-performance networking software for carrier-grade systems.
  • Expertise in Unix/Linux, including user-space processes, kernel, socket programming, and inter-process communication.
  • Knowledge and hands-on experience with large-scale multi-core router/switch architecture development.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Hands-on experience with Broadband Edge technology and protocols like DHCP, PPPoE, L2TP, etc.
  • Understanding and experience with cloud deployment environments, including virtual machines, containers, orchestration, system services.
  • Experience with open-source technologies like gRPC, gNMI, OpenConfig, etc.
  • Experience using source management tools like Subversion, Git, Gerrit, Coverity, and industry-standard build tools.
