Project Management Support Role

We seek a skilled professional to support the management and logistical needs of our Global Pro Bono program in Bengaluru, India.

The selected candidate will work closely with a team of high-level corporate volunteers providing pro bono consulting services to local social sector organizations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify potential host client organizations and develop Scope of Works reflecting their specific areas of intervention.
  • Support host client organizations in preparing for the arrival of corporate volunteers and ensure stakeholder meetings are arranged.
  • Participate in conference calls with corporate volunteers and provide advice and guidance on Scope of Work delivery.
  • Act as the interface between project stakeholders and partner organizations in Bengaluru, including regular correspondence with staff and stakeholders.
  • Prepare financial and final program reports.
  • Assist in procuring and negotiating accommodations and transportation for corporate volunteers.
  • Coordinate the program launch and closing events for corporate volunteers and host client organizations.
  • Orient new corporate volunteers upon arrival in Bengaluru.
  • Manage project travel logistics for corporate volunteers while they are in Bengaluru.
  • Monitor and advise on security arrangements for corporate volunteers when they are in Bengaluru.

Requirements

  • Must be based in Bengaluru with in-depth area familiarity.
  • College degree in project management, organizational development, sustainability, NGO management, impact investing, communications, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5-10 years of experience.
  • Exceptional writing and communications skills.
  • Ability to conduct Gap and SWOT analysis and develop consulting Scopes of Work with limited supervision.
  • Experience working with cross-cultural teams and/or skills-based volunteering programs.
  • Ability to multi-task and manage diverse tasks simultaneously.
  • Flexible and able to work in a team, as well as individually with limited supervision.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Fluent in English with fluency in Kannada a plus.
  • Exceptional customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in virtual and in-person presentation skills.
