Solutions Specialist - OCI

Talentmatics is a leading provider of innovative solutions, and we are seeking an experienced OCI Solutions Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing cloud migration solutions on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of cloud architecture design principles, security, scalability, and performance optimization. You will collaborate with clients to understand their business objectives, technical requirements, and constraints, and provide technical leadership and mentorship to migration teams.

Key Responsibilities:

* Design end-to-end cloud migration solutions on OCI ensuring scalability, reliability, security, and performance
* Collaborate with clients to understand business objectives, technical requirements, and constraints
* Provide technical leadership and mentorship to migration teams
* Work with OCI native services Compute, Networking, Database, Identity & Security to architect optimized solutions

Primary Technical Skills (Must Have):

* 7 years of experience as an OCI Cloud Engineer or in a similar cloud migration role
* Strong expertise in cloud architecture design principles, security, scalability, and performance optimization
* Extensive hands-on experience in large-scale migrating, lift and shift, optimizing, and managing workloads from AWS to OCI
* Experience with at least one cloud migration tool like RackWare, CloudEndure, OCM, or AWS MGN
* Re-architecting applications for OCI
* Wave Planning for migrations
* Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex cloud migration challenges including dependencies, latency, and security configurations
* Configuring multi-region deployments for high availability
* Disaster Recovery DR and High Availability HA setup experience on OCI
* Automating infrastructure provisioning and management using Infrastructure as Code IaC, e.g., Terraform, OCI Resource Manager
* Strong communication, collaboration, and presentation skills to engage with stakeholders and guide technical teams
* Ability to translate business requirements into scalable and secure OCI solutions

Secondary Technical Skills (Nice to Have):

* Experience with OCI AIML services API Gateway and cloud-native app development
* Experience using either CloudEndure DR or the native service DRS
* Experience using OCI Full Stack DR and comparison with DRS
