Electrical Design Engineer Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to fill the role of Electrical Design Engineer in our Consumer Electronics Division.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Design and Development: Develop innovative electrical design solutions for consumer electronics products, including controls conceptualization, BOM selection, and reviews.
  • Team Management: Manage a team of engineers to ensure timely completion of projects and deliver high-quality results.
  • Technical Skills: Possess expertise in fieldbus technologies like Ethernet TCP/IP, Profibus, Profinet, Serial Communication Schematic Diagram, Signal Line Diagram, and generation of terminal details.
  • Human Safety Devices: Have a basic understanding of human safety devices like light curtains, area scanners, and gate switches.
  • Project Execution: Oversee projects related to conveyors, robotic cells, SPMs, and other mechanical systems.
  • Document Preparation: Prepare detailed documentation, including functional analysis, risk analysis, design reviews, and sign-off documents.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics & Telecommunication, or Instrumentation Engineering.
  • A minimum of 9-12 years of experience in similar industries for Lead Member roles.
  • A minimum of 14-18 years of experience in similar industries for Leader roles.

EPLAN experience is mandatory.

Candidates with exposure to material handling conveyor systems, robotic integration systems, gantry systems, powertrain assembly lines, and e-mobility projects in the automotive industry/consumer electronics will be preferred.
