Electrical System Design Engineer Position

We are seeking a skilled electrical system design engineer to lead our team in the development of next-generation missions and technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and Development Lead: Direct electrical system and power electronics design activities, ensuring they meet certification standards and requirements.
  • Requirements Definition: Define architecture, system, and component-level requirements for new architectures and products.
  • Analysis and Modeling: Perform analysis (FMECA, simulations, modeling) on new architectures and products, including circuit design, manufacturing, and validation.
  • Certification and Standards: Ensure designs and developments meet certification standards and requirements, with expertise in multiple product development stages.
  • Integration and Standardization: Establish scope and framework for standardizing integration processes and common tools identification.

Mandatory Skills:

  • Strong understanding of power supply design, power converters, analog and digital control, MOSFETs/GaNs, gate driver circuitry, transformer/inductor design.
  • Experienced in multiple product development stages, including circuit design, simulations and analysis, manufacturing, and validation.
  • Familiarity with Solar arrays/MPPT/Battery/BMS/Wiring Harness topics and modeling & simulation tools such as Spice, MATLAB/Simulink, PSIM, and PCB Design tools like Eagle/OrCad/Altium.

Desirable Skills:

  • Expertise in component level and system level certification and standards, as well as experience in Aerospace/Automotive domains.

Basic Requirements:

  • Bachelors/Masters degree in Electrical/Power Electronics or equivalent field.
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in electrical system design and development.
