Maintenance Planning Leader

The Core Maintenance Planning Team Lead is a pivotal position within the Maintenance and Turnaround organization at an engineering center. This role provides routine maintenance planning support to refining and liquified natural gas assets.
This key individual coordinates non-turnaround routine maintenance work at the site, performed by various crafts. They provide subject matter expertise on planning, estimating, and scheduling for project work.
Responsibilities include ensuring high-quality development of work packages in compliance with industry standards. The team lead drives accountability for standard planning and estimating tools and practices and develops planners and schedulers.
Key deliverables include quality execution work plans, scope status, and forecast updates. Collaboration with Operations is essential to integrate schedules into the operating plan.
Partnering with Asset Maintenance Team Leads is crucial to feed planned work into the asset integrated plan/workflow. Developing tools to improve cost and execution forecasting accuracy and reporting on status are also key responsibilities.
Effective communication of scope progress to customers, stakeholders, and team members is vital. Proactive support for backlog management and developing and improving maintenance resource forecasting for the 5-year Work Plan and Budget are also required.
