Job Title: Executive Chef Assistant

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our team as an Executive Chef Assistant. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and ambitious individual to take on new challenges, develop their leadership skills, and work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Executive Chef in overseeing kitchen operations, including menu planning, inventory management, and staff supervision.
  • Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and safety, ensuring dishes meet customer expectations and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead, train, and manage kitchen staff to ensure efficient operation, including scheduling and delegating tasks.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery of ingredients and supplies.
  • Participate in the preparation and cooking of dishes, ensuring consistency and efficiency.
Requirements
  • Degree in Culinary Arts or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience as a Sous Chef in a high-volume restaurant or hospitality environment.
  • Proven track record of managing kitchen staff, inventory, and expenses.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with health and safety regulations, including cleanliness and sanitation standards.
