Daily tasks will include collaborating with other departments to support innovation and development within the organization. The Research and Development Associate will typically operate at the corporate or corporate-supported property level, driving innovation and process optimization.

The role blends market research, product development, guest experience enhancement, and operational efficiency. Key responsibilities include:

Key Responsibilities
  • Market & Trend Analysis: Conduct thorough benchmarking of competitors, track global hospitality trends, and identify guest behavior patterns.
  • Concept Development: Assist in creating new F&B concepts, wellness programs, room designs, or technology integrations.
  • Sustainability & ESG Projects: Research eco-friendly solutions to improve brand reputation and meet compliance requirements.
  • Technology Integration: Pilot digital tools and gather data on ROI.
  • Guest Experience Testing: Conduct focus groups, prototype testing, and gather guest/employee feedback.
  • Operational Efficiency: Identify and test innovations to reduce cost-per-occupied-room (CPOR), streamline housekeeping, or optimize procurement.
