Workday Integration Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Workday Extend Consultant to join our team at Hexaware Technologies.

Main Responsibilities:

  • To comprehend data integrations from point-to-point systems as well as holistic interchange services rendering effective data quality and dependable exchanges of digital information.
  • To identify, assess, and solve complex business problems for integrating the Workday cloud application with external applications across HR, Finance and other areas where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
  • To design, build, and support testing of Workday integration code base including Studio, EIB and supporting 3rd party coding.
  • To be responsible for timely identification and escalation of risks and development of alternative technical and functional approaches when necessary.
  • To have a basic understanding on the Security Configuration and Business Process setup in the tenant.
  • To be able to understand the requirement end to end; both Technical and Functional and to work independently and also to effectively communicate details to the clients.
  • To act as the liaison between the assigned client groups.
  • To create and maintain documentation for new and existing integrations.
  • To perform full system regression testing for Workday updates to ensure security access and integrations are functioning as expected.
  • To be able to understand business needs, troubleshoot issues, diagnose root cause and provide potential solutions to problems develop brand new or enhance/support existing Workday Extend Applications/Integration based on business requirements and following best practices.
  • To create detailed application/integration specification and data dictionary, work with solution architects, business stakeholders and functional product owners to gather business requirements of internal client's projects be actively involved in global standardization through automation and innovation, and contribute to the development of your own and team's technical acumen.
  • To have experience with EDI, XML, XSLT, Web Services, SOAP, REST, JSON, Javascript or other integration technologies.
  • To have a working knowledge of Workday integration tools including, Workday Studio, EIB's, Report Writer (BIRT), Core Connectors and PECI integration.
  • To be able to work well under pressure, handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • To be able to work cross-functionally and manage multiple responsibilities with tight deadlines.
  • To have 2-4 years Workday Extend including PMD Scripting, Orchestration, core HCM module and Security.
  • To have excellent communication and interpersonal skills; must maintain confidential information, have strong problem-solving skills, and be able to meet deadlines.
  • To explain appropriate use cases for App Components, Create and maintain Business Objects, Design and implement a Business Process, Build and Execute an Orchestration, Design and use reports using RaaS and WQL.

Requirements:

  • 2-4 years Workday Extend including PMD Scripting, Orchestration, core HCM module and Security.
  • Experience with EDI, XML, XSLT, Web Services, SOAP, REST, JSON, Javascript or other integration technologies.
