About the Role:

As a Workday Integration/Extend Specialist at Carrier, you will be part of a global cross-functional team responsible for maximizing the value of our Workday HCM investment. Your key responsibilities will include architecting and implementing Workday Integrations/Extend capabilities across various Workday HCM functional areas, whether independently, as a team member, or in a lead capacity.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop custom Workday Extend applications, conduct unit testing, and provide support for any issues related to Extend apps and relevant incident management and app log monitoring.
  • Manage existing Workday Extend applications deployed in production, ensuring accuracy and integrity of data and applications through analysis, coding, clear documentation, and problem resolution.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams such as HR, Recruiting, Payroll, Finance, IT, Facilities, and other groups to streamline and automate data delivery and synchronization among enterprise applications.
  • Perform routine break/fix support and regression testing and support the inbound/outbound interfaces to the systems.
  • Consult with business and technical teams about app design and maintenance, collaborate on design decisions, and analyze and translate business and functional specifications and change requests into technical specifications.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in information systems, Computer Science, Human Resources, or related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in HRIT in developing integrations with at least 1+ years of experience in Workday Extend.
  • Experience with designing, developing, and implementing Workday Extend applications, model components, presentation services, and orchestration.
  • Ability to work and coordinate with business users globally, experience with interface, networking, and data warehousing technologies, as well as design, relational database technologies, and performance tuning.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with team members and leadership, strong attention to detail, problem-solving, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.
