About the Role

As a Workday Integration/Extend Specialist at Carrier, you will collaborate with global cross-functional teams to maximize the value of our Workday HCM investment. This role is responsible for designing and implementing Workday Integrations/Extend capabilities across various Workday HCM functional areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop Workday applications and define technical solutions with innovative designs.
  • Experience with Web Services and APIs, including WSDL, SOAP, REST, and WS standards.
  • Hands-on experience with Workday technologies, such as Web Service Application Program Interface (APIs), Studio, EIB, Report Writer, Cloud Connectors, Business Process Framework, Configurable Security, Calculated Fields, and XSLT.
  • Experience with Workday's Human Capital Management (HCM) suite, including Benefits, Compensation, Payroll, Talent, Absence Management, Recruiting, Performance Management.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to streamline and automate data delivery and synchronization among enterprise applications.
  • Perform routine break/fix support and regression testing, and support inbound/outbound interfaces to systems.
  • Consult with business and technical teams on app design and maintenance, and collaborate on design decisions.
  • Design and develop custom extend applications, conduct unit testing, and provide support for issues related to Extend apps.
  • Manage existing Workday Extend applications deployed in production, ensuring accuracy and integrity of data and applications.
  • Analyze and translate business and functional specifications into technical specifications.
  • Ensure applications function as designed based on functional and technical requirements.
  • Understand and follow defined integration/development standards and best practices.
  • Understand and ensure security and data privacy standards.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in information systems, Computer Science, Human Resources, or related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in HRIT, with at least 1+ years of experience in Workday Extend.
  • Experience with designing, developing, and implementing Workday Extend applications.
  • Ability to work and coordinate with business users globally.
  • Experience with interface, networking, and data warehousing technologies, as well as design, relational database technologies, and performance tuning.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with team members and leadership.
  • Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle both planned and unplanned responsibilities.
  • Ability to prioritize workload and execute tasks independently, providing timely follow-up and resolution.
