We are seeking an experienced legal professional to join our team as a Legal Advisor.
This is a key role that will require you to work with highly skilled members of the legal team to provide expert advice on legal and compliance matters.
The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of applicable regulations including Data Privacy, Cyber Security, Immigration and Mobility.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and implement risk mitigation/remediation solutions for regulatory compliance issues.
- Provide guidance on reviewing and drafting policies and guidance notes related to regulatory compliance.
- Advising on compliance with data protection and privacy legislations including incident management and record retention management.
- Support on cyber security compliance and risk management including advising on disclosure requirements to regulators and interacting with external vendors.
- Advising on compliance with immigration laws in EU, APAC and MEA including review of policy/guidance documents relating to requirements for business travel and work visa regulations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in law along with relevant experience as a compliance counsel preferably in MNCs.
- Knowledge of applicable regulations including Data Privacy, Cyber Security, Immigration and Mobility.
- Ability to manage/support on review and audit exercises in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
- Good communication, interpersonal and written communication skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion in sensitive matters.
Educational Qualification: Bachelor's degree in law preferred.
Experience – 8-14 years' work experience overall.
