About the Project

We are building a new stablecoin payments initiative. Stablecoins are one of the fastest growing categories in crypto, with clear product market fit in payments and cross-border use cases. Global banks, fintechs, and crypto-native players are investing heavily in this space.

Role Overview

We are looking for an Engineering Lead to own engineering for the entire stablecoin initiative — spanning both the application and infrastructure layers.

You'll lead a small engineering team while staying hands-on building backend systems that scale securely and reliably. A big part of the role will be designing and maintaining integrations with on/off-ramp providers across geographies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead backend development of web and mobile applications
  • Design and scale backend systems powering payments and settlements
  • Build solid, reliable infra on top of fragmented provider APIs across markets
  • Lead technical discussions and own architecture for integrations and scaling
  • Mentor and manage a small engineering team
  • Ensure security, scalability, and regulatory readiness in architecture
  • Own delivery timelines and establish engineering best practices

Requirements

  • 6+ years of backend engineering experience
  • Strong in TypeScript/Node.js, and API design
  • Background in fintech or payments strongly preferred
  • Experience building integrations with external APIs/partners across geographies
  • Track record of leading small teams and scaling early-stage systems
