Role Overview

This is a critical role that requires taking ownership of complex problems, collaborating effectively with peers, and comfortably engaging in both technical and customer-facing discussions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Solution Oriented: Own technical execution for backend and frontend modules and lead delivery across the team.
  • Scaling Expertise: Enhance and evolve existing backend systems with scalable architecture patterns and thoughtful refactoring.
  • Performance Driven: Architect high-performance services using Java and Spring Boot, built for scale and uptime.
  • Observability Specialist: Work closely with DevOps to ensure production readiness with robust monitoring and alerting practices on AWS.
  • Cross Functional Collaboration: Partner with technical peers, product managers, and occasionally with customer-facing teams to ensure alignment of business and tech priorities.
  • Mentorship and Leadership: Grow backend engineering capabilities by providing clear guidance, thoughtful code reviews, and proactive problem-solving.
