Finance Operations Specialist

The ideal candidate will be experienced in finance operations with a strong understanding of financial processes and relationship management. They will have problem-solving skills with a focus on improving processes and strengthening relationships with vendors. The ideal candidate should have an action-driven personality and motivation to proactively address issues and identify areas for improvement.

  • Ability to communicate precisely and concisely in English language
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Can successfully manage multiple competing priorities
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity
  • Excellent collaboration skills and the ability to work cross-functionally across categories and internal stakeholders

Key Job Responsibilities:

  • Resolving complex vendor queries efficiently
  • Identifying and fixing root causes of issues
  • Liaising with internal teams to understand vendor issues and working towards resolution
  • Coordinating with internal stakeholders on high-profile vendor issues

Basic Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in finance operations/shared services, accounts payable, account receivable (collections) or general ledger
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Fluent English communication skills - written and verbal
  • Master's Degree in Finance/Accounting as major subject or Bachelor's degree in Commerce/Finance

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree in Finance/Accounting as major subject or Bachelor's degree in Commerce/Finance
  • 2+ years of proven track record in managing Account Payable/Accounts Receivables related activities
  • Good English communication skills – written & verbal
  • Knowledge of Oracle Financials
  • Knowledge of Outlook, Word, and Excel or similar desktop applications
