Financial Operations Manager Position

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented professional to support the financial operations of our private equity funds.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Management:
    • Work with our accounting team on bookkeeping and related tasks, including record daily cash transactions, prepare monthly bank reconciliations, code invoices in our AP system, record journal entries in our accounting software, to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of financial records.
    • Support day-to-day financial operations for multiple fund entities, including prepare cash flow projections, fee calculations, capital call and capital distribution schedules as needed. Assist with initiating wire transfers as needed.
    • Assist in preparation of quarterly and annual closing workbook, financial statements, and capital statements.
    • Organize and maintain financial documents and data.
    • Perform ad-hoc assignments as needed.
  • Team Collaboration:
    • Collaborate closely with our core accounting team.
    • Provide guidance and training to local staff.
    • Participate in communications with external service providers, including fund administrators, auditors, and tax preparers.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field; CPA, Chartered Accountant, or equivalent professional credential preferred.
  • 4 to 6 years of relevant experience in finance, ideally within private equity.
  • Prior work experience collaborating with accounting teams preferred.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel and financial systems.
