Our team seeks a skilled professional to take on the role of SAP EWM Technical Consultant. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise and excellent leadership skills.

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced consultant who can lead the technical design and implementation of SAP EWM developments across multiple projects. This includes developing and implementing custom enhancements using ABAP, BADIs, BAPIs, Enhancement Framework, and EWM-specific objects.

The successful candidate will guide and mentor the team in RF development, SmartForms, and ensure performance-optimized coding. They will collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical designs, review code quality, enforce best development practices, and conduct knowledge sharing sessions with junior developers.

In addition, the chosen individual will own the integration scenarios between EWM and other modules like MM, SD, TM, and external systems via IDoc, RFC, Proxy, etc. They will provide expertise in system performance tuning, debugging, and issue resolution.

The selected consultant will support the full-cycle implementation process, including blueprinting, development, testing, go-live, and post-go-live hypercare.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must have:

  • Minimum 6+ years of SAP ABAP development experience, with at least 5+ years focused on SAP EWM.
  • Strong knowledge of SAP EWM architecture, technical objects, and warehouse processes.
  • Hands-on experience with RFUI development, SmartForms, WebDynpro/FPM, and OO ABAP.
  • In-depth understanding of Warehouse Orders/Tasks, queues, and resource/process management within the SAP EWM context.

Candidates should also demonstrate:

  • Proven experience working with SAP S/4HANA EWM (both embedded and decentralized systems).
  • Strong integration experience with IDoc/ALE, BAPIs, OData services, and Web Services.
  • Solid experience leading development teams, conducting code reviews, and managing project deliveries.
Preferred Skills

Prior experience with SAP Fiori and SAP UI5 for warehouse-related applications is highly valued. Familiarity with modern SAP technologies like SAP Cloud Platform, SAP S/4HANA Embedded Analytics, and SAP Leonardo is also beneficial.
