Sourcing Engineer Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Sourcing Engineer to play a critical role in identifying and developing reliable suppliers for raw materials, components, and services.
Key Responsibilities:- Request and evaluate quotations from suppliers
- Negotiate prices, delivery terms, and payment conditions
- Perform supplier audits and assessments to ensure quality, capacity, and compliance
- Coordinate with internal departments for material specifications
- Maintain and update supplier database, pricing records, and procurement documentation
- Support cost reduction initiatives through alternative sourcing and value engineering
In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring supplier performance based on quality, cost, delivery, and responsiveness. Ensuring adherence to company procurement policies, procedures, and ethical standards is also a key aspect of this role.
