Senior Innovation Manager

This role will oversee the entire new product development cycle, driving innovation and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
  • New Product Development (NPD):
    • Lead end-to-end NPD projects with a focus on timely execution and cost-effectiveness.
    • Conduct thorough feasibility studies and planning, ensuring alignment with customer requirements.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive design reviews and prototype development.
  • Product & Component Costing:
    • Develop detailed cost estimates for components and assemblies, identifying areas for optimisation.
    • Analyse cost drivers and negotiate with suppliers to secure best-value partnerships.
  • Vendor Development:
    • Establish strong relationships with vendors, leveraging their expertise to enhance product offerings.
    • Manage supplier performance, ensuring adherence to quality, cost, and delivery parameters.
  • Technical Expertise:
    • Demonstrate hands-on knowledge of Forging, Casting, Machining, Rubber Metal Bonded Parts, Plastic Moulding, Sheet Metal Components, and Bought-Out Parts.
    • Work closely with R&D, quality, and production teams to drive product industrialisation.
  • Leadership & Coordination:
    • Mentor and manage the NPD team, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.
    • Coordinate with cross-functional departments to ensure seamless project execution.
