Job Title: Shift Manager

 

The primary objective of this position is to oversee the daily operations of our data center, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency. You will be responsible for managing Service Level Agreements (SLAs), Preventive Maintenance (PPM), Safety, Disaster Recovery (DRs), Audit Readiness, Compliance, Space Management, and Business Continuity Management System (BCMS).

As a Shift Manager, you will lead a shift team, ensure that planned and unplanned activities are executed on time, track complaints, and manage incidents. Additionally, you will handle asset management, warranties, AMCs, lifecycles, capacity management, vendor management, stock tracking, and customer queries.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Lead the shift team and execute activities on time with effective communication
  2. Track and close complaints within SLA deviations in a timely manner
  3. Manage incidents, perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and implement recommendations
  4. Manage assets, warranties, AMCs, lifecycles, and capacities effectively
  5. Track and complete 5 PPM with OEM and ensure equipment availability at all times
  6. Manage vendors, Response And Time (RAT) and Turnaround Time (TAT) on complaints, and ensure redundant equipment uptime
  7. Track and maintain records for stocks according to Business Continuity Plan (BCP) requirements
  8. Coordinate with Customer Engagement (CE) teams for customer queries and submit reports on time
  9. Maintain compliance 100% with periodic trackers
  10. Achieve Physical Security Process adherence at all times
  11. Prepare risk assessments and validate periods based on incidents and RCAs
  12. Update inventories monthly with capacity vs accompanying vs balance, including customer details
  13. Submit reports on time with agreed timelines
  14. Maintain audit and compliance at 100%
  15. Demonstrate knowledge in Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE)

Requirements:

Candidates should possess a Bachelor's or Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering

Additionally, a minimum of 7+ years of progressive data center and/or critical facilities experience is required
