The ideal candidate brings a strong background in Oracle database technologies, high availability architecture, and hands-on experience with SAP-Oracle integration or collaboration with SAP Basis teams. This role requires deep expertise in administering, optimizing, and securing multiple Oracle databases in production, development, and QA environments.

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Oracle DBA to lead our database initiatives such as cloud adoption, consolidation, and disaster recovery planning. The selected candidate will be responsible for managing high availability and disaster recovery configurations using Oracle RAC, ASM, Data Guard, and GoldenGate. Additionally, they will implement and test robust backup/recovery strategies using RMAN and/or third-party tools.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer, maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot multiple Oracle databases.
  • Perform installations, upgrades, patching, and migrations.
  • Optimize database performance using AWR, ASH, OEM, and advanced tuning techniques.
  • Manage high availability and disaster recovery configurations.
  • Implement and test robust backup/recovery strategies.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 6+ years of experience as an Oracle DBA in large-scale, enterprise-grade environments.
  • Strong hands-on expertise in Oracle RAC, ASM, Data Guard, and RMAN.
  • Performance tuning (SQL, instance-level).
  • Solid understanding of Linux/Unix environments, scripting, and automation.
