Audit Assurance Specialist Opportunity

Develop your technical auditing skills across a range of industries and clients with our audit assurance sector.

We are seeking an experienced Audit & Assurance specialist with strong public accounting and audit experience to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform complex audit procedures, building technical competence, and serve as the primary point of contact for the audit client.
  • Establish and maintain productive working relationships with audit clients and engagement teams.
  • Direct field work, inform engagement leaders of audit engagement status in a timely manner.
  • Complete audit procedures and documentation for higher-risk areas to broaden your technical skills.
  • Contribute ideas/opinions to the audit teams.
  • Prepare draft financial statements under US GAAP, IFRS, UK GAAP (FRS 102).
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree with 1-5 years of related work experience in a similar audit practice firm. Experience of working with Big 4 or Big 10 firms is advantageous.
  • Degree in accounting, finance, or a related field preferred. Alternatively, graduate degree with 1-5 years of related work experience in fields of statutory audits under US GAAP, UK GAAP, IFRS.
  • Experience in accounts preparation under FRS 102 and relevant applicable standards is advantageous.
  • Qualified U.S. Certified Public Accounting (CPA) license or sufficient coursework to achieve US CPA certification in the state of primary work location.
  • Excellent project management skills.
  • Advanced written and verbal communications skills.

This role is ideal for individuals who possess technical knowledge sufficient to work independently on audit engagements, including coordinating workflow and tasks with clients/engagement teams.
