Job Description

As a seasoned data engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing and building scalable data foundations to drive business value.

You will work closely with stakeholders to create a data-driven culture that permeates the organization, fostering informed decision-making at all levels.

  • Design and implement data solutions, mentoring junior engineers in best practices.
  • Translate strategic visions into actionable IT initiatives, ensuring timely delivery and successful adoption.
  • Drive the rollout and embedding of data foundation initiatives, collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve key business objectives.
  • Oversee change management processes, incident management, and problem-solving exercises.
  • Present findings and reports to senior stakeholders, serving as a subject matter expert in data analysis and design.
  • Optimize implementation efficiency and effectiveness across pilots and future projects, minimizing costs while maximizing value delivery.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • AWS/Azure/SAP - Master level expertise.
  • ELT - Advanced proficiency.
  • Data Modeling - Mastery.
  • Data Integration & Ingestion - Strong skills.
  • Data Manipulation and Processing - Proficient.
  • GITHUB, Action, Azure DevOps - Familiarity.
  • Cloud-based platforms (Data factory, Databricks, SQL DB, Synapse, Stream Analytics, Glue, Airflow, Kinesis, Redshift, SonarQube, PyTest) - Hands-on experience.
