Key Roles and Responsibilities

This highly skilled Data Engineering Lead will oversee the development and implementation of our data foundation, working closely with cross-functional teams to drive business growth through data-driven insights.

Primary Accountabilities:

  • Design and architect scalable data models to support our SaaS and AI-driven products.
  • Lead the design of clean, modular dbt pipelines and implement data testing, observability, and quality automation.
  • Collaborate with engineering, product, and analytics teams to ensure reliable data-backed features are delivered on time.
  • Guide tool selection and platform evolution across the modern data stack.
  • Own schema design, documentation, and data contracts across the analytics and application layer.
  • Mentor a growing team of engineers and participate in architecture planning and reviews.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in backend or data engineering roles.
  • Deep experience designing and maintaining normalized and dimensional data models.
  • Advanced expertise in dbt (macros, packages, tests, modularization, docs).
  • Expert in SQL, with a focus on PostgreSQL.
  • Strong Python scripting for transformation logic and automation.
