Job Title: Data Storage and Recovery Engineer

Experience Required: 2-4 years

  • Manage the installation, implementation, and configuration of data storage and recovery technologies.
  • Perform daily monitoring, reporting, and management of large data storage devices and tape libraries.
  • Handle administration and troubleshooting in SAN and NAS data storage environments.
  • Develop, execute, and maintain data backup and restore plans, including prerequisites and rollback strategies.
  • Utilize monitoring, reporting, and alert mechanism tools to ensure system stability and performance.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Minimum [X] years of relevant experience in data storage and recovery technologies.
  • Strong understanding of data storage and recovery concepts, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Hands-on experience in SAN/NAS environments and enterprise data storage management.
  • Experience with monitoring & alerting tools.
  • Knowledge of scripting languages (Shell, VB, etc.) for system administration.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certifications in data storage/recovery technologies (e.g., Dell EMC, NetApp, IBM, HPE).
  • Exposure to enterprise IT infrastructure within BFSI/Banking/Telecom/Enterprise domains.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and implement data backup and recovery plans.
  2. Manage and maintain data storage systems.
  3. Troubleshoot data storage issues.
  4. Monitor system performance and stability.

The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and effective communication skills. They will be able to work independently and as part of a team to deliver high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.
