Electrical Design Engineer Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Design Engineer to join our team. As an Electrical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing complex electrical projects with professional knowledge and experienced judgement.

The ideal candidate should have in-depth knowledge of electrical designs, including electrical distribution panels, lighting, cable management systems, outdoor lighting, indoor lighting, Lux Level Calculations, load estimation, voltage drop, and short circuits calculations. Experience with ELV systems, fire alarm, PAVA, CCTV, SCS, and software tools like Dialux, Amtech is also essential.

In addition to technical skills, the candidate should have excellent communication and coordination skills to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams and clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop electrical project plans and specifications
  • Conduct site surveys and assessments to identify electrical design requirements
  • Analyze electrical loads and perform voltage drop calculations to ensure safe and efficient electrical systems
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems into building design
  • Develop and maintain detailed records of project activities, including schedules, budgets, and progress reports

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from a recognized university or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 4-15 years of experience in electrical design, consulting, or contracting
  • Master's degree holders are given preference
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to liaise with clients and colleagues
