Job Summary:

The Demi Chef De Partie is a key member of our culinary team, responsible for assisting the Chef de Partie in the preparation and presentation of high-quality dishes. This role requires strong communication and organizational skills, as well as a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Chef de Partie in planning and executing menu items, ensuring timely and efficient service.
  • Contribute to the maintenance of a clean and safe kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety protocols.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders, promoting a positive and inclusive team culture.
  • Participate in daily and monthly meetings with the Chef de Cuisine and other relevant stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
  • Report any equipment failures or maintenance issues to the Chef de Cuisine, ensuring prompt resolution and minimizing downtime.
  • Stay up-to-date with menu changes, promotions, and other relevant information, ensuring accurate communication to colleagues and customers.
  • Collaborate with the Chef de Cuisine to develop new recipes and menu ideas, driving innovation and excellence in our culinary offerings.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures, including those related to fire safety, hygiene, and customer service.

Requirements:

  • Average reading, writing, and oral proficiency in the English language.
  • Good communication and customer contact skills.
  • Team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
  • Minimum 2 years cooking experience.

Working Conditions:

This role is based in a fast-paced kitchen environment, requiring flexibility and adaptability. The successful candidate will be required to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
