Job Opportunity

As a Scientific Affairs Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical and scientific support to both internal and external clients. Your primary goal will be to deliver consistent results and ensure the success of Global Scientific Affairs.

The ideal candidate will have experience in analytical platforms such as Siemens, Roche, Abbott, and Beckman. A degree in Medical Technology is preferred, but not required. Additionally, you should possess strong knowledge of clinical laboratory concepts and terminology.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical and scientific support to internal and external clients.
  • Assist in delivering and monitoring consistent results for Global Scientific Affairs.
  • Maintain and configure testing and assay summary information in the Test Master application.
  • Configure test codes within the STARLIMS system.
  • Assist other ICL departments with Global Scientific Affairs related issues.
  • Utilize resources to update specimen requirements, stability, and transport information.
  • Follow SOPs relevant to Global Scientific Affairs.
  • Attend meetings with clients on behalf of Global Scientific Affairs.
  • Provide notifications and technical documentation.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • BS Degree in Medical Technology (preferred).
  • Experience in Analytical Platforms (Siemens, Roche, Abbott, Beckman).
  • More than 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Knowledge of clinical laboratory concepts and terminology.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
