Business System Analyst Position

We are seeking a skilled Business System Analyst to join our team. As a Business System Analyst, you will play a critical role in simplifying complex projects and making them successful and sustainable.

You will research, analyze, and document business system requirements into detailed functional specifications. You will investigate user needs, costs, and benefits for documentation required in the demand management process.

This position requires strong domain knowledge in at least one business area with the ability to improve sophisticated processes and systems. You will be able to work independently and within teams managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Research and analyze business system requirements
  • Document current business processes and models
  • Analyze soft system factors such as roles, responsibilities, policy, culture, etc.
  • Evaluate potential software and process changes' impact on the organization
  • Develop user test cases and validate test results during testing
  • Conduct system demonstrations, training sessions, and participate in design/review of training content
  • Provide third-level support by troubleshooting and resolving production system issues

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Business, or related field, or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum of 6+ years of relevant technical or business work experience
  • Proficient in Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Visio, and Word
  • Familiarity with application integration methods, including data mapping processes
  • Strong communication skills for interacting with technical and non-technical collaborators
