Job Title and Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled individual to join our team as a Senior Infrastructure Strategist in Pune, India.

This role involves designing and delivering internet infrastructure solutions that meet business needs.

The ideal candidate will have a thorough understanding of network, operating system principles, and web middleware, as well as advanced knowledge of load balancers and web application firewalls.

The successful candidate will be responsible for generating products such as technical architecture documents (TADs), technical documents, logical flows, and models to keep stakeholders up-to-date on the application, system, or platform.

The Senior Infrastructure Strategist will also be responsible for resolving internet architectural and operational problems impacting infrastructure and product availability and performance globally.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate requirements with other architects, engineers, application teams, and users to ensure all high-level requirements are met.
  • Develop TADs, technical documents, logical flows, and models to keep users, architects, and engineers informed about evolving applications, systems, or platforms.
  • Maintain architectural products and products with architectural input in the most current state and prevent obsolescence.
  • Resolve internet architectural and operational problems impacting infrastructure and product availability and performance globally.
  • Research and evaluate new technologies for possible deployment in the company's internet infrastructure.
  • Assume lead responsibility for ongoing regional projects, including planning, time and cost control, resource utilization, and implementation.
  • Implement, manage, and support internet infrastructure components while leveraging current standards and best practices.
  • Perform problem diagnosis, performance tuning, capacity planning, and configuration management for the company's internet components.
  • Maintain system stability and future compatibility by monitoring production execution of relevant systems.


Requirements:

  • A deep understanding of network, operating system principles, and web middleware.
  • A strong background in one or more core functions related to internet infrastructure design and/or web administration.
  • Advanced knowledge of load balancers and web application firewalls.
  • A working knowledge of Database technologies.
  • A working knowledge of cloud technologies.
  • High-energy, proactive, detail-oriented, and able to function under pressure in an independent environment.
  • A high degree of initiative and self-motivation with the ability to drive results.
  • Strong communication skills both verbally and in writing, along with strong relationship and collaborative skills, and organizational skills to work as a member of a matrix-based, diverse, and geographically distributed project team.
  • A willingness and ability to learn and take on challenging opportunities.
  • Knowledge of Zero Trust Architecture principles and Network Micro-segmentation.
  • Experience working with YAML-based deployments.
