Job Role Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned Market Process Manager to oversee and manage our Market Operations processes. This role requires a deep understanding of financial markets, operational processes from both back office and middle office perspectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Confirmations: The successful candidate will be responsible for managing trade confirmations and allocations, including handling customer coupon emails, DTCC CTM (Block and allocations), and confirmation. They will also oversee incoming confirmations and sending CTM (DTCC) confirmations.

Reconciliation: Daily cash position sheet, previous day closing balance reconciliation, and outstanding items reports will be managed by the successful candidate. They will reconcile various accounts and positions, including Kapiti account balances, Intellimatch repo branch reconciliation, and Bloomberg position reconciliation. Additionally, they will manage failed trade reporting and daily LCH Gloss reconciliation.

Reporting: The candidate will generate and review daily, weekly, and monthly reports such as KPI reports, cancelled trade reports, late trade reports, and collateral management holdings reports. They will handle specific reporting requirements including daily fails and holdover report, FICC clearing fund reports, and Euroclear reporting.

Settlements: Accurate and timely settlements of trades will be ensured by the successful candidate. This includes trade ticket allocation retrieval, trade corrections, monthly clearing charges, and various other settlement processes. They will also manage collateral management activities including trade input, calculations, confirmation, and settlement.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

  • Tertiary standard of education or similar intellectual ability is required in relevant field of study
