Job Description
  • We are seeking a seasoned executive to lead our procurement efforts, driving growth and efficiency by maximizing value from suppliers. This leader will collaborate with various stakeholders to achieve short- and long-term objectives.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for leading centralized direct and indirect sourcing and procurement efforts, collaborating with internal and external groups to deliver results. They will work across departments to ensure the success of strategic initiatives, including demand management, supply analysis, supplier identification, sourcing execution, contract negotiation, delivery planning, and performance management.
  • This role requires strong leadership and communication skills, as the incumbent will review and communicate financial and operational reports to senior leaders and other stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive procurement strategy, aligning with business goals and objectives.
  • Closely link procurement performance with business needs, ensuring alignment and effective use of resources.
  • Create and manage benchmarks and metrics to measure progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • Coordinate and oversee company-wide procurement activities, focusing on cost reduction and quality improvement.
  • Select and manage procurement systems to support efficient and effective operations.
  • Negotiate agreements with third-party suppliers, ensuring favorable terms and conditions.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to drive business outcomes and achieve strategic objectives.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in a leadership role, with at least 5 years in a cross-functional position with exposure to executive teams.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Procurement or Business Administration is required.
  • Extensive knowledge of MS Office applications, particularly Excel, and Google Business applications.
