Job Title: Delivery Operations Manager

Overview:

The role of a Delivery Operations Manager is to oversee and manage the end-to-end delivery process within the logistics hub, ensuring timely and efficient deliveries. This position involves managing a team of delivery personnel, overseeing cash handling operations, and monitoring performance metrics.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency, customer satisfaction, and delivery performance.
  • Last Mile Delivery Operations:
  • Lead and manage last mile delivery operations, ensuring timely and optimized routes are followed.
  • Team Management:
  • Recruit, train, and manage a team of delivery professionals, ensuring they meet performance standards.
  • Cash Handling & Reconciliation:
  • Oversee daily reconciliation of cash collected during deliveries, ensuring accuracy and transparency.
  • Performance Monitoring & Reporting:
  • Track, monitor, and report on key metrics such as daily, weekly, and monthly delivery performance, return to origin (RTO), and other KPIs.
  • Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in logistics, with a focus on last-mile delivery operations.
  • Prior experience in managing teams and cash reconciliation.
  • Strong route knowledge within the city and nearby areas is essential.
  • Hands-on experience with daily, weekly, and monthly reporting of logistics metrics.
  • Proficient in MS Excel and Google Sheets.
