Senior Security Specialist Position

This role involves supporting security governance for customer-facing products and services across various development stages.

  • Execute comprehensive security review processes, manage exceptions, and coordinate with development teams to ensure secure product delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage end-to-end security clearance procedures across multiple product streams.
  2. Coordinate security review workflows and track project timelines.
  3. Lead the security exception management program, including intake assessment coordination and approval tracking.
  4. Facilitate cross-functional security meetings and stakeholder communications.
  5. Develop security metrics, dashboards, and executive reporting.
  6. Oversee risk posture documentation and communicate risk trends to senior leadership.
  7. Coordinate AI governance processes for generative AI implementations.
  8. Drive process improvements and automation opportunities within security operations.
  9. Establish and maintain security program documentation, standards, and operating procedures.

Requirements:

  • 4-8 years of experience in program coordination, preferably in a security or risk environment.
  • Strong organizational and coordination skills.
  • Experience with security review processes and exception management.
  • Knowledge of security frameworks and risk management principles.
  • Understanding of AI/ML project lifecycles and governance considerations.
  • Good communication skills with ability to work effectively across technical and business teams.
  • Proficiency in tracking tools, documentation systems, and process management.
  • Security-related certifications or training.
  • Background in security operations or product development support.
