Job Description

We're seeking a seasoned Agile Practitioner to join our technology and innovation team.

  • This individual will play a pivotal role in fostering an Agile mindset within the team and the organization, ensuring that Scrum practices are effectively followed, and facilitating the smooth operation of Scrum ceremonies.
  • The role involves removing impediments that hinder the team's progress, coaching the team towards self-organization, and creating a collaborative work environment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives, tracking sprint progress, including velocity, burndown charts, and other metrics.
  • Help manage the product backlog, ensuring priorities are clear, and aligning with overall goals.
  • Identify and eliminate obstacles that could prevent the team from achieving their sprint goals.
  • Cultivate high-performing teams through Agile principles and practices.
  • Maintain visibility into the team's work, ensuring transparency and understanding among stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Strong knowledge of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban) and hands-on experience in their implementation.
  • Able to provide scrum and other Agile training to teams.
  • Able to resolve conflicts and remove impediments in a team environment.
  • Experience using Agile project management tools like Jira, Confluence, Whiteboard.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Able to facilitate collaboration across geographically distributed teams.
  • 5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master or in a similar Agile role.
