IT Audit Manager Job Description

 About the Job

Seeking an experienced IT audit professional with a strong background in risk management and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate will deliver multiple IT audit assignments, develop and implement a risk-based audit framework, and manage outsourced audit partners to improve efficiency.

 

  • Deliver multiple IT audit assignments, including application and infrastructure audits, security assessments, vendor audits, and thematic assignments.
  • Develop and implement a risk-based audit framework that meets RBI regulations and adheres to ISO 27001 standards.
  • Manage and liaison with outsourced audit partners to improve efficiency and reduce costs without additional resources.
  • Establish and maintain quality assurance and improvement programs, facilitating internal and external quality assessments.
  • Provide advisory support to IT projects related to internal controls and IT risk management.

 

Requirements:

  • A degree holder with 5-12 years of experience in IT audits, preferably in the BFSI segment.
  • Hold a CISA certification, with other preferable certifications including CISM/CRISC/CISSP.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Sound knowledge of key RBI circulars.
  • Strong project and relationship management skills, with experience handling teams.
  • Critical thinking, analytical, and data handling skills.
  • High energy, passion, and self-starter attitude, with good presentation skills and time management.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work as a team.
