AI Engineer Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deploy AI/ML models for real-world applications using Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn.
  • Work on large language models, natural language processing, computer vision, and predictive analytics projects.
  • Optimize machine learning pipelines for performance and scalability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, data engineers, and product managers to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Stay updated with advancements in AI/ML and suggest improvements for implementation.
  • Conduct experiments, validate results, and integrate solutions into production environments.
  • Troubleshoot, monitor, and improve deployed models to ensure they meet business requirements.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 3–7 years of experience in AI/ML engineering roles.
  • Strong proficiency in Python programming language and popular frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn.
  • Experience working with large language models and fine-tuning models for specific tasks.
  • Strong knowledge of machine learning pipelines, data preprocessing, and deployment frameworks (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, FastAPI).
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) for AI/ML deployment and management.
  • Good understanding of software development practices, Git, CI/CD, and Agile methodologies.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
