Web Analyst Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and data-driven web analyst to lead end-to-end tracking and analytics setup for our web platform.

  • Design and implement a comprehensive measurement framework, ensuring accurate data collection, and delivering actionable insights that drive business performance and user experience optimization.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop a robust tracking and measurement plan aligned with platform architecture and business goals.
  2. Configure and maintain tracking infrastructure using Google Tag Manager (GTM), Mixpanel, and OneTrust Consent Platform.
  3. Define and implement event tracking, user flow analysis, and conversion tracking.
  4. Build custom Mixpanel dashboards and reports to monitor site performance and key KPIs.
  5. Track critical user behaviors including navigation patterns, feature engagement, and drop-off points.
  6. Optimize tracking for multi-step conversion funnels.
  7. Implement A/B testing and user segmentation strategies to evaluate and enhance performance.
  8. Ensure tracking accuracy through testing and debugging of event implementations.
  9. Validate data integrity and troubleshoot inconsistencies.
  10. Stay current with privacy regulations and ensure compliance via cookie consent management using OneTrust.
  11. Partner with developers to ensure accurate implementation of tracking scripts.
Expertise You Bring:
  • Proven experience in web analytics and tracking implementation.
  • Hands-on expertise with GTM, Mixpanel, and consent management platforms.
  • Strong understanding of event-based analytics, conversion funnels, and A/B testing methodologies.
  • Familiarity with privacy laws and their impact on tracking and data collection.
  • Excellent collaboration skills with both technical and non-technical teams.
  • Experience building real-time dashboards and custom reports.
  • Ability to translate business goals into measurable KPIs.
