This is a unique chance to be part of our cybersecurity and risk management team, where you will play a key role in defining and shaping the future of our organization's security posture.
The job involves working closely with cross-functional teams to secure cloud and data center infrastructure. You will analyze vulnerabilities, assess their impact, and support stakeholders to understand technical details and remediation steps.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze and identify vulnerabilities across our environment.
- Evaluate the risk of detected vulnerabilities to determine true impact.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to track issues and ensure timely remediation.
- Act as an expert for new projects in vulnerability management lifecycle.
- Manage and maintain tools used to support vulnerability management process.
- Stay updated on latest security and technology developments.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience in a similar role such as vulnerability management specialist.
- Proficiency in Qualys or other security vulnerability detection technology required.
- Demonstrated expertise in multiple IT, Security and Software disciplines.
- Ability to understand cause and effect of application vulnerabilities with Operating System Vulnerabilities.
- Must be able to multitask and manage large amounts of information across disparate systems.
- Ability to drive progress and define future strategy/policy with regards to Enterprise.
- Adherent to 'continuous monitoring' and 'continuous improvement' thought process.
- Technical skills including OS flavors, network technologies and topologies.
- Security expertise in cloud platforms (AWS preferred).
- Able to effectively communicate and present solutions in business terms.
- Teamwork and effective communication skills.
- Familiarity with Python scripting or other languages a plus.
- Documentation and analytical skills; documenting processes, policies, and standards.
- Ability to provide end-to-end support to enterprise counterparts, identifying root-cause of complex enterprise initiatives.
- Troubleshooting skills across complex enterprise applications, server, and endpoint environments.
- Ability to learn onboard and adapt to new technologies.
- Privileged access management/right management experience designing solutions based on least privilege.
- Broad knowledge of current threat landscape.
- Cybersecurity certifications a plus.
