Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Chartered Accountant to join our finance team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and finalize monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with accounting standards.
  • Month-End Closure: Manage the month-end book closure process, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and ensuring accurate financial data.
  • Revenue and Expense Management: Review expenses for proper classification, recognition, and TDS compliance. Oversee revenue recognition processes in line with accounting standards.
  • GST Compliance: Ensure timely and accurate GST return filing (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, etc.). Stay updated on changes in GST laws and regulations.
  • Reconciliation: Perform bank reconciliations, intercompany reconciliations, and balance sheet reconciliations to ensure financial data integrity.
  • Audit Support: Assist in internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation, schedules, and explanations.
  • Reporting & Analysis: Prepare financial reports and management information systems (MIS) highlighting key trends and analysis of financial performance.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance financial reporting and accounting operations efficiency.
  • Internal Control and Compliance: Assist in designing and implementing standard operating procedures (SOPs) for control and compliance.
  • Technology Tools and ERP Implementation: Implement technology tools and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems to improve employee productivity.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
  • Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is mandatory.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of post-qualification experience in a relevant accounting or finance role.
  • Proven expertise in financial statement preparation and month-end closing.
  • Team management experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of accounting standards.
  • Strong understanding and hands-on experience with GST compliances and return filings.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with high accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel. Experience in ERP implementation will be beneficial.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.
