Job Overview

The role of a Configure, Price and Quote (CPQ) Solutions Expert involves working on complex implementations of CPQ systems. This requires collaboration with IT Architects, subject matter experts, and business stakeholders across the globe.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand current and future systems and processes.
  • Defining and designing CPQ systems in collaboration with IT Architects.
  • Documenting CPQ process flows and system diagrams.
  • Managing user permissions, configuring product and pricing rules, approvals, quoting templates, digital signatures, workflows, validation rules, and changes to user interface.
  • Coordinating IT and UAT test scripting and testing.
  • Creating and maintaining operating instructions, system configuration, and other documentation as needed.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in systems analysis and implementation – preferably ERP/CRM/Quote to Cash.
  • 5+ years of experience working with sales teams implementing CRM/CPQ projects.
  • Experience working on Apttus CPQ – including Product, Pricing, Approvals setups.
  • Salesforce and CPQ certifications preferred.
  • Advanced Salesforce administration experience required – Profiles, Workflows, Process builder.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce development – APEX, Visualforce, Lightning.
  • Excellent communication and organization skills.
