Job Title: Software Development Specialist

We are seeking a talented and experienced Software Development Specialist to join our team.

About the Role:

This role will play a pivotal part in software development activities and collaboration across the organization. You will work on building highly scalable distributed solutions that enable positive user experiences, collaborating with senior developers and designers to implement features from concept to deployment.

You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable web applications, working on both front-end (React, Angular, Vue.js) and back-end (Node.js, Python, Java) development tasks, developing and consuming RESTful APIs, and integrating third-party services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications
  • Collaborate with senior developers and designers to implement features
  • Work on front-end and back-end development tasks
  • Develop and consume RESTful APIs
  • Integrate third-party services
Requirements:
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field
  • 2+ years of relevant software development experience
  • Commanding knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented design
  • Strong system design fundamentals and experience building distributed scalable systems
  • Expertise in Java and its related technologies
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js, React or React Native or related frameworks
  • Experience with large scale messaging systems such as Kafka
  • Hands on experience with any cloud platform such as AWS or GCP or Azure
