Procurement Specialist Role

Job Description:

As a seasoned procurement professional, you will oversee the entire procurement process from start to finish. This entails reviewing purchase requisitions (PRs), identifying requirements, and taking necessary actions.

The ideal candidate will have 15 years of experience in procurement of electrical/mechanical/civil commodities for infrastructure projects. A Master's degree in Electrical engineering or certification in Procurement or Supply Chain Management is highly desirable.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Review PRs, identify requirements, and take appropriate action
  • Collaborate with technical teams to understand and gather details related to requirements
  • Consolidate common requirements following review of PRs
  • Prepare inquiry/tender documents based on inputs from Engineering/Facility/Operation Department and disseminate them to prequalified bidders
  • Facilitate end-user queries and respond to vendors
  • Analyze rates, terms, and conditions
  • Develop internal costing
  • Prepare NFA and LOA/PO after approval
  • Foster interaction with various departments for package-specific requirements
