Job Title: Project Lead - Agile Delivery

Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Lead to oversee the delivery of our Agile software development projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring timely delivery of sprint goals and project milestones.

About the Role:

  • The Project Lead will support Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and development teams in coordinating Agile ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
  • They will facilitate communication and collaboration between internal Agile teams and external stakeholders to align on project objectives and requirements.
  • Maintaining and distributing Agile project documentation including sprint plans, product backlogs, user stories, sprint review notes, and retrospectives is also an essential part of the role.
  • The Project Lead will track sprint progress, impediments, and dependencies; escalate issues and coordinate resolution to maintain sprint velocity and delivery timelines.
  • They will organize and coordinate release planning and deployment activities in collaboration with DevOps and QA teams.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Project Management, or related field.
  • 5 to 8 years of experience in project coordination or management, with at least 3 years in Agile software development environments.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills tailored to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Proficient in Agile project management tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms.
  • Experience facilitating Agile ceremonies and supporting Scrum or Kanban teams.
  • Excellent documentation skills and attention to detail in maintaining project artifacts.
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders across various levels, different vendors and geographies effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) and software development lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Capability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM), PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP), or similar Agile certification.
  • Experience working in software development or IT services industries.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools.
