Senior Financial Operations Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Operations Support Specialist to join our team.
This role is crucial for ensuring seamless client experience by handling trade settlements, cash movements, and various operational tasks.
- Trade Operations:
- Demonstrate familiarity with all product and instrument types within the hedge fund world.
- Be familiar with the affirmation, confirmation, and reconciliation of both listed and OTC derivatives.
- Understand the Equity/Bond/Repo Settlement Process.
- Possess familiarity with at least 2-3 of the following third-party vendor tools: CTM, TRAX, Markit Trade Manager, Markitwire, DTCC, and TRAIANA.
- Have knowledge of accessing broker portals.
- Treasury Cash Settlements:
- Be fully familiar with the transfer of funds between accounts in the hedge fund, Private Equity, and Real Asset sectors.
- Have knowledge of wire creation (manual/auto) and the workflow for fund movements.
- Be aware of the importance of currency cut-offs in the settlements world.
- Have familiarity with various types of SWIFT messages.
- Understand cash fails management and how to resolve issues when funds are stuck.
- Be familiar with OTC cash settlements.
This role is ideal for individuals who have a solid understanding of financial instruments and trade operations.
The successful candidate will have strong customer service, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
They will also be able to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Education: A Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or other quantitative subjects.
