Actuarial Specialist Role Overview

This position involves working on actuarial projects, conducting research and analysis, and collaborating with teams to deliver high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Understand the current state of affairs and problem statement
  • Interact with clients, understand their requirements, and transform them into business frameworks
  • Experience in data extraction, manipulation, and management in various tools like Excel, R, Python, SAS, Emblem/RADAR, ResQ
  • Conduct in-depth data analysis, identifying trends, and providing solutions for Pricing Non-Life insurance
  • Personal and commercial lines general insurance pricing non-life for US/UK/APAC insurance markets
Candidate Profile

To be successful in this role, you should have a strong foundation in economics, mathematics, or actuarial sciences. Relevant experience in P&C actuarial concepts and ability to learn technical and business knowledge are also essential.

Additionally, you should possess analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
