Strategic Data Analyst

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure seamless data initiatives align with our strategic objectives.
The role involves working closely with data engineers, architects, and governance teams to translate complex business requirements into actionable data specifications.
Our ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills and experience working with data/business analysts in the insurance or financial services sector.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing insightful analytics by translating complex business requirements into actionable data specifications
- Performing in-depth data profiling and gap analysis to identify data quality issues
- Developing and maintaining dashboards, reports, and visualizations using tools like Power BI
- Facilitating workshops and conducting user acceptance testing for analytical or reporting solutions
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- 6+ years of experience as a data/business analyst in the insurance or financial services sector
- Strong understanding of industry standards and regulatory requirements
- Advanced skills in SQL for data querying, profiling, and transformation
- Proficiency in Power BI or similar BI tools
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
